Recommendations for Mary’s Talks

Some of the subjects of my talks are listed on the Talks for Groups and Conferences page. If you’d like me to talk at your group or conference then do contact me to discuss all the options. I’m always happy to discuss your requirements so that the talk is exactly right for your particular group or meeting.

Here are some of the recommendations from delegates and organisers at local and national holistic therapy events.

“I just wanted to say thank you so very much for speaking at the Wandsworth and Merton support group last night! You managed to make the whole room alive with enthusiasm. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves, and so engaged in a new topic – Positive Touch for Children. It was also fantastic to see a couple of new faces at the meeting who attended because they knew you were speaking.”Annie Aulds, October 2011.

Mary came to speak at our Waterlooville FHT local support group in May.  She gave us lots of inspiring ideas for adapting Indian head massage in working with the elderly and people in palliative care.  We particularly enjoyed her anecdotes from her Indian travels.” Alison Pearce, May 2011

“It was a pleasure to meet Mary at the local therapist support group.  I have heard many good things in The Holistic Industry about Mary, and finally I have had the pleasure of meeting with her. I will definitely recommend her courses to my students.”Teresa Rich, September 2011

“Mary’s talk on Positive Touch for Children was one of my highlights of camexpo 2011. I’ve shown the simple techniques of story massage to everyone I know. My son loves it!”  Herts Holistics, October 2011

I attended your workshop on Positive Touch for Children at the Camexpo on Sunday and I found really interesting and very enjoyable. It has been very helpful in giving me ideas and suggestions for my own work as a massage therapist and also for a presentation on the benefits for massage for children that I will be giving next month. Thank you.Lily Labonte October 2011

“Thank you so much for your interesting talk at the ADDISS conference yesterday and especially for the hands on practice session, which I was immediately able to put to use last night on my 8 year old child with multiple special needs.

I created a story about snow, rain and wind in Australia, with bewildered kangeroos and kuala bears wondering why there had been such strange weather happening in their normally sunny country. My child laughed and laughed at the scenes of animals running around excitedly in the snow, celebrating their first snowfall ever.

And this morning when I reminded him about the massage, a full smile came to his face – so rarely do I see this with a child who has so many challenges to deal with! I was thrilled.  Thanks once again.”  (read more about this conference here)” Mother of child with ADHD, November 2011
