Interview with Good Housekeeping

Why is a copy of the July 2012 Good Housekeeping on my office floor? Good question!

If you turn to page 99, there’s a two page article on self-massage techniques which are taken from my books The Art of Indian Head Massage and Healing Touch for Children which include sections on using massage for self-help for everyday ailments and stress relief. The health journalist, Sally Brown, interviewed me on the telephone and wrote a sensitive and informative article which was checked for accuracy by the Good Housekeeping Health Watch.

Self-Massage for Aching Shoulders

Among the suggestions is self massage for aching shoulders. Try it for yourself. Lean one elbow and forearm on a table, then use the other hand to reach across your chest and massage the fleshy area of your back above the shoulder blades. Use deep kneading movements to help relieve the muscular tension and pressure.

Articles and Interviews

As a health journalist, I am always willing to give interviews or to write articles for publications on my areas of specialism, particularly Indian Head Massage. Please contact me if you would like more information.
