Gentle and Nurturing Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage using gentle techniques is becoming increasingly popular in clinical and palliative care settings. A caring and nurturing touch on the back, head and face can bring great comfort to frail and elderly clients. Indeed, many Indian Head Massage therapists are now adding more gentle techniques to their sessions with regular clients as a way of enhancing relaxation and stress-relief. These techniques can be learnt on as part of my FHT accredited Diploma in Indian Head Massage.  Continue reading »

Style and the Holistic Therapist

Middle-aged holistic therapist. Hmm. What image does that conjure up for you? Answers might range from ‘caring, salt of the earth type’ to ‘wacky, born-again hippie’. The reality is that most of us are hard-working (often self-employed) professionals trying to juggle far too many demands. And the result is that we often spend far too much time on others, and far too little on ourselves especially when it comes to appearance. And then when we get an invite to an event, we are gripped by panic – ‘but what will I wear?’ Continue reading »

The Art of Indian Head Massage Training

Indian Head Massage is joy to give and receive. So if you are thinking of training in a new therapy, then do take a look at comments from clients of therapists who have trained with me.

“Indian Head Massage is just heaven. I really look forward to my regular sessions. It is my time, just for me. My therapist makes me feel really well looked after and I always leave feeling so much better.”

“I’ve been having Indian Head Massage every week for over year now.  I was given a voucher for my 80th birthday and enjoyed it so much that it is now part of my weekly routine. My therapist visits me in my home and always adapts the therapy to how I am feeling. It makes me feel special.”

“Since having Indian Head Massage, I feel far less stressed. I have stopped worrying about the little things – and now enjoy life much more. I’m less of a nag to my husband and children too!”
