Joining in Story Massage at 90 Years Old!

It was such a delight to share my ‘ Smiling Flowers’ Story Massages with members of the St Peter’s Fellowship in Selsey in August 2012. Although originally written for children as part of the Healing Touch for Tsunami Children project, the audience (several of whom were in the nineties) were keen to give it a try!

The story, which focusses on the healing power of nature, proved a real winner with the members of the group, who enjoyed experiencing the therapeutic value of nurturing touch. They were interested to know about my work with Cocoro Charity, set up to offer healing touch to the people so badly affected by the tsunami in Japan, and asked me to return with photographs. In the meantime, we all took time to share the massage and remember the people who are still suffering in silence.

If you would like a copy of the Smiling Flowers massage story, or would to know more about Cocoro Charity or invite a member of the team to give a talk at your local group or organisation then please contact Mary Atkinson, UK representative.
